We induced a new member in August, James Barringer. Jim is the owner of Assisted Living Locators of Princeton. His role is to help individuals find the best place to live when going home, from illness or injury, may not be an option.
Our President, Matt Drago, presided over this important ceremony and the club was present to offer congratulations. Please help us welcome Jim into Rotary and wish him a very successful journey of service.
Rotarians at work! At our last August meeting we packed school supplies in backpacks for back-to-school. This project was to support the annual backpack drive project to benefit St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church. The backpacks will help needy families in Trenton.

Two of our members were honored by being recognized as Paul Harris Fellows in August. This is a very prestigious award with Rotary. The first to receive this recognition was member Mike Pine.
The Paul Harris Fellow award is about acknowledging individuals who demonstrate significant commitment to Rotary's mission of service. It's awarded to those who contribute, or have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation. This award symbolizes a deep appreciation for those who exemplify the spirit of service above self, both within Rotary and in their communities.
Congratulations, Mike! We are proud of your accomplishment.
The second Paul Harris award was given to our member Janet Gurvitch. The Paul Harris Fellow award is a prestigious recognition within Rotary International, acknowledging individuals who demonstrate significant commitment to Rotary's mission of service. This was Jan's 5th Paul Harris recognition so her commitment to supporting service and the Rotary International Foundation is truly outstanding. We congratulate Jan on her outstanding commitment to Rotary and thank her for the many years of support of Rotary.
