A few of our members attend the District 7475 celebration dinner. This was to recognize and celebrate our new District Governor, Jeannie Tsukamoto, as she begins her new term. Rotarians from across the district attended and were treated to a good meal, great conversation and reconnecting with old friends.
A great way to begin this new Rotary year!
At the weekly meeting on Friday August 9th, the Princeton Corridor Rotary was proud to present a $1,000 check to Barrett Young and Desi Hall from the Rescue Mission of Trenton. Presenting the check to Mr. Young is club member Chip Jerry and Club President Steven Francis.
The Rescue Mission of Trenton serves the truly needy men and women who have no place to turn for shelter, food, and clothing. The Mission provides a safe, clean, warm, refuge for the homeless, the hungry, the transient, and the addicted.

Rotarians at work! This past Friday we put together 24 backpacks for children going back to school in Trenton. This was part of a larger project run by Rev Erich Kussman of St Bartholomews Lutheran church.
Our President, Steve Francis, organized this project as part of our goal to perform at least one hands-on project each month. So far, we have met that goal and will continue to create service projects to have a positive impact in our community.
Our club custom is that for any fifth Friday in a month we have a social gathering, instead of a regular club meeting. This past fifth Friday was no different. Members and club friends gathered at Capuano's Ristorante in West Windsor.
A change of perspective and venue are good to do from time to time. We occupy the room at the back of the restaurant and share good food, BYOB, great conversation, fun and a lot of laughs. A great way to end August.
