Two members of the Princeton Corridor Rotary, Martin Rosenstein and Scott Needham, were recently honored by Rotary International with Paul Harris Fellowship award pins for their contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Congratulations Marty and Scott! Keep up the great work! Current Club President Chip Jerry presented the pins.
The Princeton Corridor Rotary guest speaker on Friday July 10th at the Hyatt Regency Princeton was one of our very own members Jean-Louis Van Doorne. Born in Africa and raised in Belgium, Jean-Louis talked to our club about his extensive past experiences including his long time employment with Dale Carnegie, his hobbies and how he got into Rotary.
Our guest speaker at the Princeton Corridor weekly meeting at the Hyatt Regency Princeton on Friday July 17th was Robert Aluck, the Stewardship Director for the Sourland Conservancy. The Sourland Conservancy’s mission is to protect, promote and preserve the Sourland Mountain Region of Central New Jersey.
We partnered with One Simple Wish at our meeting on July 24 to create Love, Hope and Joy bags. The organization spreads love, hope, and joy by granting wishes to kids and young adults impacted by foster care and crisis. The bags contains games, writing and coloring materials, among other things.
We also further supported them with a grant from our Foundation to help allow them to continue to grant wishes. The club is proud to support the good work of One Simple Wish. If you would like to participate in one of our projects, please reach out through our web site.
