As we have for many years our club was a sponsor for the United Way of Greater Mercer County's Strike Out Hunger event on June 10. We had a team of club members and friends pack meals that will be use to assist families over the Summer. This is the time when access to the school meal programs is limited.
A total of 40,000 servings was packed and our team contributed approximately 2,000. These meals will be sent to Mercer Street Friends for further distribution. Thanks to our team who supported this important effort.
