Our Club wishes everyone a happy and successful New Year!
Our guest speaker on Friday December 6 was Pauline Hansen. Pauline is a doctoral candidate at Princeton University where she is studying biophysics while specifically performing gene research.
Pauline is from Flensburg Germany (the same hometown as The Princeton Corridor Rotary’s own Knud Christensen) a small town about 4 miles from the border with Denmark. Besides currently being a graduate student at Princeton, she has been a Rotary Exchange student in Australia. Pauline gave a wide ranging talk from applications of her work in gene research to eating maggots with the aboriginals in Australia.
On Friday December 13 the Princeton Corridor Rotary was proud to once again welcome “Out of the Blue” to perform at our Holiday Party at the Princeton Hyatt Regency. As is the case every December, “Out of the Blue” put on a magnificent performance of holiday songs for the club. Out of the Blue is an extracurricular mixed ensemble acapella group open to non-freshmen at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South.
We are already looking forward to next year’s performance.
